VIA NOVA BCAA (nutritional supplement)

Anti-catabolic protection and muscle build up

BCAA

The special feature of BCAA (branched-chain amino acids) is that they reduce or even prevent protein catabolism. Usually when under a lot of pressure, it is not only carbohydrates, but also amino acids, leucine in particular, that are being degraded.

But if you supply enough BCAA no valuable muscle protein is metabolized as energy. These properties are also called "anti-catabolic effect".

In a study with triathletes it has been discovered that by taking BCAA regularly the body's natural growth-hormone production is significantly increased.

The essential amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine belong to the BCAA (branched-chain amino acids).

BCAA are particularly interesting for athletes since:

  • they promote muscle-protein synthesis (particularly when taken after training),
  • they reduce or prevent protein degradation,
  • they significantly increase growth-hormone production,
  • they improve energy supply in endurance sports,
  • they reduce formation of lactic acid
  • and they protect the muscles against degradation.

When and how do you preferably take VIA NOVA BCAA?

An athlete with 80 kg has an estimated need of about six grams BCAA. As a rough guideline, one tablet should be taken before and two tablets after training.

In endurance sports: three to four tablets, taken before training, cause increased endurance and quick regeneration after training. Therefore, the body's own proteins are spared, in fact, they are even regenerating. At the same time, lactate formation can be reduced.

In athletic sports: three to four tablets, preferably together with a protein drink (Vipro 100 Soy Protein) ensure that an anabolic metabolic state is achieved and that it does not come to muscle degradation.

Via Nova BCAA – an ideal shield for our muscles.
